About One Wintry Night-Lion:

The boy crouched down and yanked his cap further over his ears as the wind rose to a roar across the ridge.

When Jeb is caught in the mountains by a sudden snowstorm, he takes refuge in a cabin his grandfather has helped to build many years before. He is made welcome by the woman living there, who offers him shelter, attends to his injured ankle, and spend the hours they are snowbound by telling the Christmas story.

In a skillful blend  of contemporary fiction and familiar Bible themes, beginning with creation, Ruth graham has created a memorable and unique version of Christmas story. The rich texture and fascinating detail of Richard Jesse Watson’s stunning illustrations make One Wintry Night a captivating reading experience.
